Qualifications

• A current, up-to-date resume.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Two years of Patient Service Center experience preferred.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Strong customer service and patient communication skills.
• Keyboard and data entry experience.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations as needed.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to meet compliance requirements.
• Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, geriatric and forensic specimen collections following established procedures.
• Verify patient identity, accurately label specimens, and maintain required documentation.
• Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
• Explain collection procedures and provide exceptional patient service to create a comfortable experience.
• Maintain a safe, professional, and compliant work environment.
• Support Patient Service Center and physician office operations as business needs require.
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and accuracy standards.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
