You will collect blood samples from patients of all ages, ensuring safety and accuracy while maintaining compassionate care. The role requires greeting patients, venipuncture, and adherence to protocols with strong teamwork.

Preferred candidates have 1 year phlebotomy experience and completed formal phlebotomy training. Weekend work and rotating holidays are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Completion of a formal phlebotomy training program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and establish rapport to alleviate anxiety.
• Perform venipuncture using aseptic techniques to collect blood.
• Follow procedures for specimen collection, handling and processing.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, patients and families to ensure smooth collection.
