Job Duties
  1. Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams
  2. Administer oral solutions as trained
  3. Research test/client information, verify orders using lab systems, communicate with clients
  4. Navigate a computer and accurately enter data
  5. Obtain identification, enter billing info, collect payments as required
  6. Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep
  7. Perform non-patient duties: inventory, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, emailing
  8. Follow departmental policies and procedures
  9. Assist with data/statistics submission
  10. Maintain phlebotomy logs
  11. Complete training courses timely
  12. Travel to other sites as needed
Minimum Education & Experience
  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Medical training preferred (medical assistant, paramedic)
  3. Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA
  4. 1-3 years phlebotomy experience preferred
  5. Customer service experience preferred
  6. Keyboard/data entry experience
