Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II for first shift in Hackensack, NJ. This on-site contract role (4 months) offers $24.51–$26.27 per hour and requires travel to multiple locations with short notice.

You will draw blood, prepare specimens for lab testing, and ensure safety and accuracy while communicating clearly with patients. Prior phlebotomy experience in diverse populations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in some states.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform daily phlebotomy tasks accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe, professional patient environment.
• Collect venipuncture and capillary samples per procedures.
• Verify patient demographics and labeling accuracy post-venipuncture.
• Keep required records and documentation up to date.
• Promote a positive image to patients and staff.
