Shift: Monday - Friday 9:30am - 4:30pm, Rotating Saturdays 9:00am - 1:00pm

Summary:
- The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) represents the face of our company to patients, whether for routine health checks or critical health decisions.
- The PSR II draws quality blood samples, prepares specimens for lab testing, and maintains a trustworthy environment by explaining procedures clearly and performing blood draws skillfully, safely, and accurately.
- The PSR II demonstrates leadership behaviors, focuses on process excellence, and upholds confidentiality and accuracy in handling patient information.
- Assignments may vary to doctors' offices, patient service centers, or as dictated by business needs. Under supervision, perform daily tasks accurately and timely.
- Maintain a safe, professional environment and perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing according to established procedures.
- Verify patient demographic information, including initials and signatures post-venipuncture, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Promote a positive image to patients and staff.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to produce high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficient in pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
- Adherence to all policies, including dress code, safety, and guiding principles.
- Good judgment and decision-making skills based on established procedures.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record if applicable.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours across multiple locations with short notice.
- Excellent communication skills and customer focus, with the ability to adapt to change.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred, required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Work Experience:
- At least three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Minimum two years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
- Customer service experience in retail or service sectors preferred.
- Keyboard/data entry experience.
