Phlebotomist II – Salisbury, MD
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with rotational weekends.
Pay Range
17.71–26.56 / hour. Salary offers based on skills, training, experience, education, and certifications. Successful candidates may be eligible for an annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities
- Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams, etc.).
- Administer oral solutions according to established training.
- Research and verify test/client information using laboratory technology systems, client contact, and approved tools.
- Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
- Obtain identification, enter billing information, and collect payments per corporate policies.
- Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport as required).
- Perform non‑patient‑facing duties (inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, using email).
- Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
- Maintain phlebotomy logs (maintenance, temperature, etc.) in a timely manner.
- Complete online and in‑person training courses on schedule.
Qualifications
- Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Keyboard/data‑entry experience.
- Flexible and available for staffing needs (weekends, holidays, on‑call, overtime).
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record (when applicable).
- High‑school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.
