Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II for its Rocky Mount, NC location. You will draw blood samples, prepare specimens for testing, and interact with patients in a trusted, professional manner.

The ideal candidate has phlebotomy experience, certification, and strong data-entry skills to support accurate documentation and rapid processing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 3 years of phlebotomy experience needed.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company to patients visiting for routine care or health insights.
• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain a trustworthy, calm environment.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and maintain confidentiality and accuracy.

Our Client, a Medical Research company, is looking for a Phlebotomist II for their Rocky Mount, NC location.

Responsibilities

• The Phlebotomist II represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions.
• The Phlebotomist II draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• The Phlebotomist II has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.
• The Phlebotomist II will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time. Maintain a safe and professional environment. Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. Maintains required records and documentation. Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.
