Responsibilities

• Collect quality blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing while maintaining quality standards
• Verify patient demographics and ensure proper specimen labeling procedures are followed
• Provide a positive patient experience by explaining procedures and creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence
• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties per established procedures
• Maintain accurate records and protect patient confidentiality
• Support daily operations in a fast-paced environment while meeting productivity and quality expectations
• Maintain a safe, professional, and organized work environment

Pay Rate: $21.50-$23.05 per hour (based on experience)

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-2:00pm

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Strong phlebotomy skills with the ability to perform error-free work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Patient Service Center experience preferred
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment highly preferred
• Medical assistant, paramedic training, or phlebotomy certification preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and data entry skills
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to cover multiple locations as needed
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
• Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
