Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist I for New Concord, OH. Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The role involves specimen collection, lab data entry, and customer interaction in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Salary starts at a minimum of $20.00+ per hour with potential annual bonus consideration based on performance and organizational factors. Full-time benefits and career advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, prep for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
