Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab tech systems.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing info, collect payments as required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, prep for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
