Quest Diagnostics in Columbus, OH is seeking a Phlebotomist I to collect specimens and support patient testing from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotational weekends. The role offers competitive pay starting at $20 per hour and access to comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Read and comply with departmental policies, protocols and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and training records.
• Complete training courses timely.
