Responsibilities

• Performs venipuncture and collects specimens from newborn to adult patients according to protocol.
• Ensures specimens are labeled correctly and suitable for testing; resolves identification issues.
• Answers calls, assists with inventory, and maintains supplies/equipment.
• Receives and sorts specimens from internal/external customers; coordinates additional requests as needed.
• Orders and verifies test requests and documents information for quality assurance.
