Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians and RNs with phlebotomy, transport, monitors, wound care, Foley catheters, and lab specimens.
  • Document information and promptly communicate observations to the RN.
  • Process daily patient charges and related procedures through EHR.
  • Collaborate with physicians to coordinate communications facilitating patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment following policies and precautions.
  • Monitor equipment and arrange repairs as needed.
  • Perform patient positioning and transporting with proper technique.
