Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist I at our Leesburg, FL location to draw blood, prepare specimens, and interact with patients in a professional, confidential setting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, phlebotomy experience, and preferred phlebotomy certification. Training in medical assisting or paramedics is a plus, with emphasis on accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 6 months of phlebotomy experience needed.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of health routine or insights into health decisions.
• Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for lab testing following established practices.
• Interacts with patients, explaining procedures and drawing blood in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
• Demonstrates Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence and confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
• Performs daily activities under the direction of the area supervisor, maintains a safe environment and keeps required records.
