Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist I in Lakeland, FL. This onsite contract role runs for 4 months with a pay rate of $19.85–$21.26 per hour. Eligible candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

The PSR I role focuses on drawing blood samples from patients, preparing specimens for lab testing, and maintaining precise records while upholding patient confidentiality and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent — Required
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
• Minimum of 6 months experience — Required
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence
• Represent the organization professionally to patients and the public
