This role involves collecting specimens, performing basic phlebotomy tasks, and ensuring accurate data entry and order verification in a fast-paced lab environment.

Candidate should have a high school diploma; medical training or phlebotomy certification is preferred, and English communication is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments as required.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stocking, cleaning, phones, email).
• Follow departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and related records.
• Complete training courses timely.
