Job summary

Intermountain Health McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah is seeking a Phlebotomist I for part-time work. This role collects specimens for diagnostic testing in a fast-paced hospital environment and participates in a supportive team focused on patient care.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, capillary puncture, and specimen handling across outpatient, emergency, and inpatient settings, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Six months phlebotomy experience, phlebotomy training or national certification as approved by manager/supervisor. Preferred.
• BLS Required.

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomist I collects patient specimens for diagnostic testing in a professional environment.
• Performs venipuncture, capillary puncture, PIVO, and throat swabs across outpatient, ED, and inpatient settings.
• Adheres to PPE requirements and maintains safety and compliance.
