Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Youngstown, OH is seeking a Phlebotomist I for Tue-Sat shifts from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role offers a minimum hourly pay of $20.00+ and includes opportunities for annual performance bonus compensation based on performance and company factors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and confirm and verify orders.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics/submission of data.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
