Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a phlebotomist for the Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO. The role collects blood specimens, labels and routes samples for testing, and maintains lab supplies in a fast-paced environment.

Hours are full-time (64 hours per pay period), dayshift, on-site only. Compensation ranges from $19.10 to $24.83 per hour and is based on experience. UCHealth offers comprehensive benefits and employee growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
• Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing.
• Maintains supplies and equipment.
• Performs additional tasks as necessary or assigned, including clerical or lab support tasks.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgement and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
