Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and other specimen collections using needles.
• Collect, label, process, centrifuge, split, freeze, and package specimens.
• Verify patient information, orders, and labels for accuracy.
• Explain blood draw procedures clearly to patients.
• Maintain specimen integrity during storage, transport, and handling.
• Perform equipment maintenance, recordkeeping, and updates.
• Follow OSHA/DEP regulations and complete required training.
• Answer calls and provide laboratory results as appropriate.
