Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Experience performing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging.
• Collect and store specimens per procedures; ensure correct labeling.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity.
• Adhere to OSHA/DEP regulations and complete required trainings.
• Answer inquiries and document results as needed.
