Intermountain Health Cassia Regional Hospital is seeking a Phlebotomist I for PRN, variable shifts at Cassia Regional Hospital in Burley, Idaho. The role involves accurate specimen collection, PPE compliance, and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, capillary puncture, PIVO, throat swabs, and participation in training, codes, and special projects. Requirement: HS diploma, 6 months phlebotomy experience, and BLS.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Six months of phlebotomy experience, phlebotomy training or national certification as approved by manager/supervisor. Preferred.
• BLS Required

Mansioni

• Accurately collect patient specimens for diagnostic testing in a professional hospital setting.
• Perform venipuncture, capillary puncture, PIVO, and throat swab collections across diverse patient groups.
• Adhere to PPE requirements and safety regulations.
• Communicate procedures with patients and families, showing empathy; growth opportunities exist.
• Assist with patient registration, CODE response teams, training/mentoring new staff, specimen processing, and special projects.
• Maintain organized, safe workspace and navigate multiple computer systems.
• Take on-call shifts and holiday rotations as needed.
