OSF HealthCare is seeking a Phlebotomist I to obtain blood and other specimens according to established policies and procedures from patients in various locations within the service area. Duties include venipuncture, labeling, and preparing specimens for analysis, with independent work and team collaboration as needed.

This hourly position in Illinois offers pay between $19.96 and $22.18 per hour, with compensation determined by experience and internal equity.

Formación

• Education: High School/GED.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain blood and other specimens according to established policies and procedures.
• Label specimens and transport them to the laboratory for analysis.
• Maintain professional relationships with patients, staff, and physicians.
• Perform clerical and/or computer duties as needed in the laboratory.
