Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Phlebotomist I in Eugene, OR. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekend rotation. Vaccination against COVID-19 is required with possible exemptions after offer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
• Phlebotomy certification preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones).
• Follow departmental policies and train completion timely.
