Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Edmonds, WA is seeking a Phlebotomist I to join our team. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with rotating weekends. A state phlebotomy license is required where applicable. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required. Salary offers may include annual bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA/NV/WA).
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify test orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and statistics; complete training timely.
