Job summary

UW Health seeks a Phlebotomist to perform routine blood collection for in-patient and out-patient settings. You will ensure accurate specimen labeling, proper handling, and adherence to safety and privacy standards.

The role requires a phlebotomy course or 1 year of phlebotomy experience, and a HS diploma or equivalent; BLS certification is required. On-site role at UW Health facilities with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a phlebotomy course and/or one year of phlebotomy experience is required.
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy procedures accurately and safely for patients.
• Coordinate specimen collection and labeling per protocol; maintain patient comfort and privacy.
