Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 6 months phlebotomy experience, or enrollment in a Medical Lab Technician/Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Science program with completed phlebotomy rotation.

Responsibilities

• Collect venous and capillary specimens using SOPs and aseptic technique.
• Perform bedside testing.
• Perform Laboratory Information System (LIS) functions.
• Provide instruction to students/personnel.
• Perform laboratory related duties as requested by the Manager.
