Title: Phlebotomist I - 1st Shift

Location: NJ_ALDV_10 Guyot Lane, Princeton NJ 08544

Duration: 6+ months

Shift: Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm | Every 4th Saturday at the same location 10:00am-1:30pm

Description:

• The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients, assisting with health routines or health decisions.
• The PSR I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for lab testing following established practices.
• Creates a trusting environment by explaining procedures and drawing blood in a safe, skillful, and accurate manner.
• Demonstrates leadership behaviors with a focus on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy.
• Performs daily activities accurately and on time under the supervision of the area supervisor.
• Maintains a safe and professional environment.
• Handles forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established procedures.
• Maintains required records and documentation.
• Promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime, based on staffing needs.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months experience; 1+ years preferred.
• Customer service experience in retail or service environments preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
