Job summary

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist-I for a 13-week contract in Boise, ID 83704. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm MST. Pay ranges from $17.50 to $20.50 per hour, based on education, experience, and credentials.

This role requires a high school diploma and at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience, with 1+ year preferred. Responsibilities include performing venipuncture, verifying patient identity, maintaining a compliant work area, and accurately labeling and transporting specimens

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required.
1+ year phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.
