The Valley Health System in Southern Nevada is seeking a qualified phlebotomist to join our laboratory team. The role involves performing venipunctures and collecting patient specimens with adherence to testing protocols and quality standards.
Requires phlebotomy certification upon hire or acceptable licensure substitutions. A high school diploma or equivalent and basic computer skills are essential, with prior lab or phlebotomy experience preferred.

Performs venipunctures and other patient specimen collections; has thorough knowledge of testing and collection requirements, Requires moderate supervision.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Acceptable phlebotomy training program.
Basic computer knowlege required.
Phlebotomy certification required upon hire (Laboratory Assistant or Point of Care analyst license may be substituted for certification). Licensed Practical Nurse, License Advanced EMT and Licensed Paramedic are also accepted. If national certification then Laboratory Assistant or Point of Care Analyst licensure with the State of Nevada within 6 months of hire.
Prefer previous experience as a Lab Assistant, phlebotomist, emergency room technician, LPN or paramedic with phlebotomy skill set.
