Job summary

Labcorp's PAML division in Silverdale, WA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques, process specimens, and provide outstanding patient service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires valid Washington State Phlebotomy license, and 6+ months of phlebotomy experience is preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with potential overtime and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State Phlebotomy license (or license application on file at time of hire)
• 6+ months phlebotomy experience preferred
• Ability to travel to additional sites as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
