Job summary

Labcorp in Silverdale, WA seeks a Phlebotomist to join our patient-focused team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, collect specimens for drug screens and tests, and ensure accurate data entry and specimen handling.

The role emphasizes patient service and teamwork in a dynamic clinical environment. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm, with overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State-issued Phlebotomy License.
• In lieu of license, an application for a phlebotomy license may meet requirement at hire.
• Able to pass color blindness test and work overtime as needed.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs of patient and specimen data.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
