Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Bremerton, WA. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques and handle specimens for various tests while delivering excellent patient service.

The role requires a WA phlebotomy license, flexibility for overtime, and may involve travel to additional sites. The schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with occasional Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State phlebotomy license or license-pending with eligibility requirements.
• Current or prior Labcorp/phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Color blindness test may be required.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
