Job summary

Rocky Mountain Laboratories in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a dependable full-time phlebotomist to support in-clinic specimen collection and patient care. You will work independently in a clinical setting, maintaining strict safety and data-entry standards.

Primary duties include venipuncture, accurate labeling, specimen processing, and collaboration with clinic staff to ensure timely and precise results. Prior phlebotomy experience and AZ certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active AZ phlebotomy certification required.
• 1–2 years phlebotomy experience outside training/donation centers.
• Strong venipuncture and order of draw experience.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection per protocols.
• Greet and assist patients professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
• Verify patient identity and correctly label specimens.
• Process, package, and prepare specimens for courier pickup and testing.
• Enter and verify patient and specimen data in the lab system.
