Job summary

MUSC Health Florence Medical Center in Florence, SC is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist to draw and collect blood samples, verify records, and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. The role may include finger-prick blood collection and basic interviews or vital signs.

Requirements include a high school diploma and CPR/BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days). Internal candidates must meet ICCE Career Ladder criteria; external candidates must complete requirements within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must have 250+ blood draws for consideration.
• Internal candidates must meet Path and Lab ICCE Career Ladder requirements.
• External candidates must complete Path and Lab ICCE Career Ladder requirements within 90 days in position.

Education

Experience: (Must have 250+ sticks for application consideration)

This is a Career Ladder Position. Internal candidates are required to submit and meet Path and Lab ICCE Career Ladder requirements. External candidates are required to complete Path and Lab ICCE Career Ladder requirements within 90 days in position.

License/Certification

BLS or CPR Required. If not BLS Certified, then certification must be obtained within 30 days of Hire.
