Job summary

MUSC Health in Columbia, SC is seeking a PRN phlebotomist to collect venous and capillary specimens in multiple inpatient and outpatient settings, perform bedside testing, and handle LIS duties. This role also includes teaching students and other personnel under the supervision of the Lab Manager.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience and a completed accredited phlebotomy certificate. The position is 16 hours per week with hourly pay.

Additional Job Description

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: 2 Years work experience in phlebotomy required. Credentials: Completed Accredited Phlebotomy Certificate Course. This is a Career Ladder Position. Internal candidates are required to submit and meet Path and Lab ICCE Career Ladder requirements. External candidates are required to complete Path and Lab ICCE Career Ladder requirements within 6 months in position.
