A leading diagnostic information services provider is seeking a Phlebotomist III - Float for various locations. This role requires not only technical skills in phlebotomy but also excellent customer service and the ability to mentor others. Candidates must have at least five years of experience in phlebotomy and a commitment to patient care.
Shift/Time Zone: Monday - Friday 6:30am-4pm; alternate Saturday 8am-12pm
The Phlebotomist III - Float represents the face of our company to patients who come to ***, whether as part of their routine health checks or for critical health insights. The Phlebotomist III - Float draws high-quality blood samples, prepares specimens for lab testing, and follows established procedures. This role involves direct patient contact, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence, and explaining procedures clearly. The Phlebotomist III - Float provides coverage across multiple locations and roles, ensuring daily activities in Patient Service Centers, Mobile, Long Term Care, and In-Office Phlebotomy are completed accurately and on time.
They demonstrate leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information. Responsibilities may include working in a doctor's office, patient service center, house call environment, or long-term care, and leading or mentoring other staff. The role may also involve training new employees and acting as a point of contact onsite. The Phlebotomist III - Float may handle high-complexity, high-volume practices, requiring excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills across various functions such as Sales, Laboratory Testing Services, IT, Billing, and Logistics.
