Job Title: Phlebotomist Floater - 1st Shift
Wyomissing, PA
3 months Contract
Onsite
6 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday, every other Saturday 7 to 12
The Phlebotomist III- Float represents the face of our company to patients who come for health routines or health decisions. The role involves drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and ensuring procedures are followed accurately. The Phlebotomist III- Float interacts directly with patients, creating trust and explaining procedures skillfully and safely.
This role provides coverage at multiple locations and roles, ensuring daily activities are completed accurately and on time. The candidate demonstrates leadership behaviors, process excellence, and confidentiality. They may work in various settings such as doctor’s offices, patient service centers, long-term care, or mobile units, and may lead or mentor other staff.
The position requires handling complex cases with outstanding phlebotomy skills, excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration with multiple functions like Sales, Laboratory Testing, IT, Billing, and Logistics. The candidate must manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
