Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques.

• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.

Benefits

• QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM*: Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

• Casual, PRN & Part Time employees may participate in 401(k) Plan only.

Work Schedule & Location

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, hours vary between 7:00am - 5:30pm; additional days/hours may be requested, including a Saturday rotation. Typical work schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm. Position Includes Overtime.

Work Location: 1950 Mountain View Ave., Longmont, CO 80501. Territory coverage includes Longmont, Fort Collins, Boulder, Louisville, Westminster and surrounding areas.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred
• Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
