Job summary

Labcorp is hiring a Phlebotomist to collect blood samples in patient service centers or client offices. The role includes venipuncture, sample preparation, data entry, and occasional travel to other sites. Excellent customer service and accuracy are essential.

Minimum qualification is a high school diploma with preferred Phlebotomy certification and 3+ months of experience. Benefits and a role within a global health company are provided.

Qualifications

• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company.

Location

9331 S. Colorado Blvd., Suite #50, Highlands Ranch, CO 80126. Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office.

Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm, rotational Saturday included in this role.

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

• Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
• Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
• Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.

Incentive Bonus Program

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Pay Range

$21.73 to $28.49 per hour
