Job summary

Labcorp in the Denver Metro area seeks a Float Phlebotomist to support patient service centers in Lone Tree and surrounding areas. You will perform blood collection, handle specimens, and enter data while delivering excellent patient service.

This role requires a high school diploma, a phlebotomy certification or training, and at least 9 months of phlebotomy experience. You may travel between sites, including weekend coverage, with a competitive pay range and quarterly incentives.

Qualifications

• Experience with pediatric to geriatric patients beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our Team for coverage at Patient Service Centers in and around the Denver Metro area including Lone Tree, CO. 80124.

Work Schedule: Hours are Monday - Friday, and vary from 6:30am - 6:00pm. This position includes a rotational Saturday schedule.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
• 9 months or more experience as a Phlebotomist
• 1 or more years of experience with pediatric through geriatric patients

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Coverage for Denver Metro & surrounding areas
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

*QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM * : Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Application Window Closes: 09/26/26 Pay Range: $21.73 - $28.49 per hour Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
