As a Float Phlebotomist, you will have the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience.

Pay Range: $16.07 - $27.77 per hour

Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program: Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part-Time employees working less than 20 hours are eligible for the 401(k) Plan only. For more details, click here.

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills, relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, internal equity, and market data.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, hours vary between 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, with additional days/hours possible. Typical work hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Position includes overtime.

Work Location: 2716 E. 82nd St., Bloomington, MN 55425

Territory coverage includes Bloomington, Coon Rapids, Golden Valley, Edina, Maple Grove, St. Anthony, and surrounding areas.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
  • Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
  • Process billing information and collect payments when required.
  • Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
  • Maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
  • Travel to additional sites as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record if applicable.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Able to pass a color blindness test.
