Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Arizona, serving various sites around Sierra Vista, Casa Grande, Green Valley, Oro Valley, and Tucson. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling, and data entry with flexible scheduling and potential overtime.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, processing specimens, and delivering excellent patient service in a fast-paced environment. Eligible to participate in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan based on performance metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred or 2+ years experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Arizona to include, but not limited to the cities of Sierra Vista, Casa Grande, Green Valley, Oro Valley, and Tucson.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed, including Saturdays as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Float Differential

Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement.
