Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to work across Arizona locations including Sierra Vista, Casa Grande, Green Valley, Oro Valley, and Tucson.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with additional hours as needed, including Saturdays. You will perform venipuncture, collect specimens, enter data accurately, and support multiple sites while delivering excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 2+ years experience as a phlebotomist.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work in fast paced/high volume environments.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Float Phlebotomist

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Arizona to include, but not limited to the cities of Sierra Vista, Casa Grande, Green Valley, Oro Valley, and Tucson.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed, including Saturdays as needed

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

As a Float Phlebotomist, you will have the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience.

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Float Differential

Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement
