Job summary

Providence is seeking a Phlebotomist in Spokane Valley, WA to obtain accurate blood and body fluid specimens from patients. The successful candidate will identify challenges in phlebotomy and maintain strong relationships with clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification upon hire.

Under the direction of laboratory leadership, the Phlebotomist obtains accurate and reliable blood and body fluid specimens from properly identified adult and/or pediatric patients. Identifies phlebotomy difficulties, defines appropriate solutions and coordinates resources. Maintains outstanding relationships with client and technical staff.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of a phlebotomy program administered by an accredited postsecondary school or college or a phlebotomy training program or equivalent education/experience.
• Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification upon hire.
• 6 months - Phlebotomy experience.
