As a Float Phlebotomist, you will have the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience. You will be working with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/locations. **Pay Range: $15.50 - $23.96 per hour

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 hour shift, scheduled hours vary between 7:00 am - 5:30pm and alternating Saturdays 7:00 am - 11:00 am

Work Location: Liverpool NY

PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist is required
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Must have a Valid Driver's License and good driving record
• Must be at least 21 years’ old

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous LabCorp experience

• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
