Job summary

Centers Laboratory in Camp Hill, PA is seeking experienced Phlebotomists with a strong focus on patient care and safety. You will perform blood draws, prepare patients, and ensure accurate labeling and handling of specimens in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of phlebotomy experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy Technician certificate preferred.
• If not certified, completion of a hospital or major lab training program is required.
• Understanding of standard blood drawing practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Accurately identify patients using wristbands, documents, or known visual ID.
• Assemble supplies and equipment for specimen collection per standards and procedures.
• Draw blood using proper equipment and techniques.
• Label test tubes correctly and send them for testing.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety throughout phlebotomy procedures.
• Follow proper test tube order of draw and dispose of sharps safely.
