Qualifications

• High-school or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
• Excellent data entry and customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office. Valid driver license required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate collection, processing, handling, and shipping of blood specimens.
• Identify patients correctly following policies and procedures.
• Label specimens and complete requisition forms via paper or online portal.
• Pack and ship specimens per SOPs and HIPAA guidelines.
• Provide compassionate service to patients, physicians, and clinic staff.
• Communicate with a diverse patient population and respond to needs.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and universal precautions when handling specimens.
• Inform Supervisor of daily tasks and deviations from procedures.
• Adhere to Sagis SOPs while working at the physician’s office.
• Pickup, package, and ship specimens as needed.
