Job summary

B Positive Plasma is seeking a phlebotomist to operate under the supervision of the Center Manager and Physician Substitute on site to ensure donor safety, product integrity, and donor health in compliance with FDA and SOP guidelines.

The role requires Monday–Friday availability with one alternating Saturday, and paid training Monday–Friday. Key duties include phlebotomy, instrument maintenance, donor interaction, and inventory management on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Previous experience or education in a health-related field helpful.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate instruments used for donor qualification and donation.
• Maintain instruments used for donor qualification and donation.
• Prepare site and perform phlebotomy.
• Document operational and maintenance activities.
• Assess supply inventory; order and restock, as needed.
• Attend to donor’s needs, including donor reactions.
• Promote customer satisfaction through interaction and responsiveness to customer needs.
• Report all unsafe situations or conditions to supervisor
• Travel up to 25 miles to other facilities for training or staffing needs
• Other duties as assigned.
