Job summary

Austin Regional Clinic (ARC Southwest) is seeking a Phlebotomist to obtain blood specimens from patients of all ages using venipuncture and capillary methods. Work includes processing orders, maintaining confidentiality, and following lab policies.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with phlebotomy training or experience. Saturday shifts are part of the schedule, and ARC offers benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; Phlebotomy class preferred.
• Experience: Either completion of phlebotomy class or at least one year of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens from patients of all ages using venipuncture and capillary collection methods.
• Process laboratory orders and specimens according to protocol.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, compliance and Code of Conduct.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory of laboratory supplies.
